Though our first concert of the season is named after #Tchaikovsky, we don’t think #Rachmaninoff would mind! Widely considered one of the last great Russian Romantic composers, Rachmaninoff was inspired by Tchaikovsky’s work and even learned from him at the Moscow Conservatory. Now we will reunite them, giving you the opportunity to hear their beautiful melodies and emotional resonance back-to-back. We are excited to present to you Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini in our upcoming Classics performance this October!

We had a fantastic time last night at the historic Springfield Barn in Williamsport, where around 130 guests joined us for our Subscriber & Donor End-of-Summer Picnic! This special pre-season event marked the kickoff of the 25th Anniversary Season of our Music Director & Conductor, Elizabeth Schulze.

Guests enjoyed outdoor lawn games, live music by the Mack Berry Band, a delicious #picnic meal, and a 50/50 raffle. A big thank you to @wantz_distributors of Hagerstown for sponsoring the bar and drinks!

What a perfect way to wrap up summer as we look forward to our first concert of the season on October 12th & 13th at @themarylandtheatre . We can't wait to see you there!
