The Maryland Symphony Orchestra’s Kinder Konzert program is designed to introduce children in pre-k through first grade to a full spectrum of musical concepts. Through this program students learn about the fundamentals of music including dynamics, rhythm, melody, and harmony, and the various instruments and how they work together to create music.
There are three performances held on each date and each performance lasts approximately 30 minutes. Times are 9:45 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:15 PM. All performances are held at the Kepler Theatre at Hagerstown Community College. These performances primarily serve organized school and youth groups.
